I once was quietly living out my life for God, now I’m ready to be bold with my faith.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as a young child. I grew up in the church and accepted at a young age that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that whoever believes in him is saved by the grace of God. I’ve grown up walking in faith and attending church regularly. Attending church from a young age taught me about having a personal relationship with Jesus, the importance of reading your Bible, prayer, and the importance of having a church family to grow in your faith. God has blessed me beyond belief with a loving, God fearing family. My wife and I pray continually that our children grow up to be God loving people with a heart for Jesus. I know I’m no where close to perfect but strive to repent from my sins, grow closer to God, and lead my family and friends closer to God as best I can. Being a lifelong believer has come with some ebbs and flows. At times I have become complacent in my faith and gone through stretches where I haven’t grown much as a Christian. I am being baptized now to publicly proclaim my faith and declare Jesus as the sole driver of my life. Although I accepted Christ as a savior at a young age, I view the baptism as resubmitting my life to Christ.
