THE FRIDAY 5
Each week we are highlighting someone at Mission who will answer 5 questions! Our church may be growing, but getting to know your neighbors should never be hard to do.
The Facts: Born and raised in Arlington Heights. Now living in Glen Ellyn with my lovely wife, Caroline. I work as a water treatment engineer around the Chicago area. I love spending time with friends and family, no matter what we're doing.
1. In one word how would your friends describe you?
I've been described as a Golden Retriever by friends and family - it's most likely because I'm happiest when everyone's together and hanging out.
2. What is playing on your radio, iPod, etc?
If music, it could be Joe Pug, Neil Young, Keith Green or Imagine Dragons. But I'm really a podcast junkie: Freakonomics Radio, Planet Money, This American Life, etc.
3. Who is the person who has had the biggest impact on your life?
My Dad, in just about every facet of life: spiritual, business, daily routines, sense of humor.
4. Your last meal on earth would be where?
I'm pretty sure this will be an option in Heaven, but just in case, I'd be ordering up an Italian Beef Combo with Sweet Peppers and Eggs, along with a large Italian Ice from Johnnie's Beef (locations in Arlington Heights and Elmwood Park).
5. What is one thing you love about Mission?
The vision. I love that we're willing to redefine Church so others can meet Jesus.
