The Friday 5 : Andrea Wittig

THE FRIDAY 5

Each week we are highlighting someone at Mission who will answer 5 questions! Our church may be growing, but getting to know your neighbors should never be hard to do.

Andrea Wittig

The Facts: I grew up in Minnesota and lived 8 years in Los Angles, CA before moving to Bloomingdale. I have been married for 8 years to Mark and we have two children. I have worked in four different types of career/professions over the last 12 years....but now I am grateful to be able to focus on caring for our two boys, Evan and Joshua. I am a mom through biological and adoption. Some of the things that I love in my life are; movies, being crafty/creative, the outdoors, the mountains, camp fires, wine, BBQing with neighbors, my friends & family, family adventures, mentoring, and just having fun/being silly with my boys.

1. In one word how would your friends describe you?

Intentional. (I actually just polled a group of my friends to see what they would say;-) most common is intentional...I think because I try to act with purpose. I am a deep person that wants to have meaningful connections and interactions with the people around me. I also love to spur people on towards growth, to be their best true self.

2. What is playing on your radio, iPod, etc?

Variety of Worship, David Crowder, Natasha Beddingfield, Taylor Swift ...I like fun music with a beat I can jam to and I really love worship music, it really helps me connect to God.

3. Who is the person who has had the biggest impact on your life?

My husband, Mark. He has unconditionally loved me and pursued me in ways I never thought any human would. He has been a human example of Christs love for me. No, he is not perfect, far from it, but he believes in me, peruses me and loves me despite my many many faults.

4. Your last meal on earth would be where?

First course would be In-N-Out hamburger and fries, then my main course would be medium rare steak with red wine. Location would be outside where there were no bugs, at the perfect temperature while in and looking at the Mountains.

5. What is one thing you love about Mission?

I LOVE that Mission Church exists to connect people to God through helping redefine church for people... loving people and the neighborhood in unique ways.
