The Friday 5 : Rachelle Tucker

Each week we are highlighting someone at Mission who will answer 5 questions! Our church may be growing, but getting to know your neighbors should never be hard to do.

Rachelle Tucker

The Facts: I am currently working at the Willow Creek Association helping with registrations for the Global Leadership Summit. I am a little hesitant to share this but, I am a Packer and Cardinal Fan at heart. I enjoy camping ,hiking and a good bon fire in the great outdoors, music, interior decorating , antiques, cooking, baking, organization, gardening, board games, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.

1. In one word how would your friends describe you?

I love to be authentic and real.I care about the people that I come in contact with and really treasure the personal relationships I have. I am loyal, caring, sweet and like to follow through on commitments as well as laugh a lot.

2. What is playing on your radio, iPod, etc?

I like a wide range of music. Christian, Pop, Rock, Oldies, Classical, Folk, Big Band etc. My playlist may look something like this: Coldplay, Jesus Culture, Enya, Benjamin Dunn, Louis Armstrong, The Beach Boys, U2, Green Day, Adele just to name a few. It really depends on what mood I am in.

3. Who is the person who has had the biggest impact on your life?

That would have to be my Grandmothers, as they both demonstrated and practiced selflessness, servanthood, and had so much love for Jesus and their families.

4. Your last meal on earth would be where?

In the company of my husband and family in a remote amazingly beautiful mountainous region, next to the ocean, at dusk, watching the sun set, while sitting around the fire, reminiscing, and enjoying a great glass of wine, and some sushi followed by a gourmet side salad and perfect grilled piece of steak or brisket with fresh steamed green beans and party potatoes and then some kind of awesome dessert like homemade hot apple pie with ice cream or some kind of cheesecake.

5. What is one thing you love about Mission?

I love the passion for Jesus, worship and community. Also how applicable and Biblical Jon's messages are to everyday life.
