My holiday break is always the perfect time to knock out an entire book. Sometimes multiple books. This year as I transitioned from 2012 to 2013 I read the following: Andy Stanley's Deep & Wide - Great read! The first half is the genesis of North Point, how it came to be, Andy's relationship with his father - really interesting stuff. The second half is a really practical look at how NP is a "church that unchurched people love to attend."
Daniel Pink's Drive - In this book, he blows up the myth that people are motivated by "carrots & sticks", or external rewards. Real results are seen when people are intrinsically motivated.
Lastly, I dove back into the Steve Jobs bio. It's my lake house book, so I've only read it at the lake. I'm about 500 pages in to it so far.
