Mission Kids Volunteer Onboarding Steps

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in trying out the Mission Kids Team, where we are passionate about helping kids find and follow Christ. We appreciate you reading and responding to the Mission Kids form!

Step 1: Download

Please download the Planning Center Services app. Be sure to “accept notifications”! We use it for scheduling, communication, and you can download any resources for the weekend.

Step 2: Prepare

Be prepared and confident for your first time volunteering!

1. Here are instructions on how to:
- Accept your invitation to volunteer.
- Access the lesson. If you are pursuing a position on the Leadership Team, it is required that you come prepared, having read the lesson and understand the Bible story.

2. Please watch this training video where we take a deep dive into the four pillars of Mission Kids: Identity, Culture, Resources, and Safety, the foundation that shapes everything we do.

3. Learn more about our Placemat here! This is our resource to help families follow Jesus together during the week in their home, neighborhood and school.

Step 3: See You There!

Huddles! Don't miss! A huddle is a short time for volunteers to gather before service to connect, encourage one another, and prepare their hearts to help kids find and follow Christ.

Huddle Times:
4:30pm for the 5:00pm
7:45am for the 8:15am
9:30am for the 10am
11:15am for the 11:45am

Have a friend who’s interested in joining you? Simply share the Mission Kids form with them. We’re so excited to meet you both!
