Mission Kids Volunteer Onboarding Steps

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in trying out the Mission Kids Team, where we are passionate about helping kids find and follow Christ. We appreciate you reading and responding to the Mission Kids form!

Step 1:
Please download the Planning Center Services app. Be sure to “accept notifications”! We use it for scheduling, communication, and you can download any resources for the weekend.

Step 2:
Be prepared and confident for your first time volunteering!

1. Here are instructions on how to:
- Accept your invitation to volunteer.
- Access the lesson. If you are pursuing a position on the Leadership Team, it is required that you come prepared, having read the lesson and understand the Bible story.

2. Please watch these two videos:

  1. Video 1 casts the vision for Mission Kids 2.0, where we’re headed and why it matters. Watch it here. 

  2. In Video 2, we take a deep dive into the four pillars of Mission Kids: Identity, Culture, Resources, and Safety, the foundation that shapes everything we do. Watch that here.

Step 3:
Be on time for your huddle! Have a friend who’s interested in joining you? Simply share the Mission Kids form with them. We’re so excited to meet you both!
